North Coast Big Game Fishing

Like the other review on this - I too had high expectations and was not disappointed. Having been fishing in Florida for many years, was quite impressed with the Gone Fishing outfit. Smaller boats than I am used too, but equipment ie rods and enthusiasm of Kiko and Gee Gee our captain and crew more than made up for lack of feet on boats length. Still the main object was to fish and we were not disappointed. My wife fishes as well, so we paid for one rod while booking and one watcher and we just took turns at the rod. We took the morning trip. Kiko has been fishing in these waters for years since he was a kid he told us. I can believe it too. We trawled for a while out to deeper water. There are a few fishing grounds laid down already. We did catch a Dorada of 8lbs, not bad, no marlin but then it was not the season for marlin. A well run fishing trip from the north coast with a good trained crew and experienced captain. Just what you want! If we are over in the Dominican again we will hook up with Gone Fishing again!
