Dolphin Encounter

An amazing opportunity to get up close and personal with one of natures most beautiful and intelligent marine mammals. The Oceanworld dolphin encounter provides you with the chance to get to know these wonderful creatures more intimately. Suitable for all ages you'll join two friendly Bottlenose dolphins in just 3 feet of water where the dolphin trainer will explain and answer any questions you might have about this incredible mammal. This is not a full on swim program, however you'll get the opportunity to feed, touch, kiss and dance with your new dolphin friends, plus it's great for all the family particularly non swimmers and those not comfortable in deeper water. Also included are animal encounter shows, snorkelling over an amazing coral reef with colourful tropical fish and so much more please see the full inclusions and itinerary beneath.

Excursion Tips & Additional Trip Information

• Always take sunscreen, drink plenty of water and keep a close eye on your children in the sun.
• Total duration for the Dolphin Encounter lasts approximately 30 minutes.
• A buffet lunch option is available for US$14 per person and can be purchased at Ocean World.
• Important Information: This is NOT a dolphin swim program but an interactive encounter program. Swim with dolphin programmes are available in our primary excursion list.
• Please Note: Pregnant ladies are not allowed to participate in any encounter or interactive programs.
• Children aged 3 years and under are free of charge but must be accompanied by paying adult.
• For safety reasons, infants and children aged 0 - 12 years must be accompanied by a paying adult in the same dolphin encounter or swim.
• You will be asked to take a brief shower before entering the water with the dolphins.
• For the safety of the animals, no cameras or glasses allowed, and all jewellery must be taken off, these can be stored in the free lockers provided, alternatively you can always store these items in your hotel security box before departure.
• If you would like to arrive or leave Ocean World at a different time than scheduled you will need to arrange a private vehicle or taxi.

Child Information: Children under 3 years are free but must be accompanied by a paying adult. Children up to the age of 12 must be accompanied by a paying adult in the same dolphin encounter or swim. Price of U$79 for children between the ages of 4-12 inclusive.
