Gringo Lingo

Yes, the time has come and you have now left the cocoon like cushioning of your all- inclusive resort, maybe you have gone on an excursion for the day, or are taking a walk down the beach and buying some souvenirs from local vendors, or maybe you just fancy having a bit of a chat in Spanish.....But wait, you don’t speak the local lingo!  Don’t despair - We at The RealDR have compiled a list of phrases and useful words for you and combined with much hand and arm waving plus some serious eyebrow wiggling we at The Real DR are convinced you’ll soon get your point across.
The Dominicans are by now used to the Sacred Gringo Gesticulation Dance and usually will wait patiently with a small twitch on the side of their mouth until you finish, remember though a smile works wonders and will cross any language barrier anywhere in the world............
