There is still a tropical wave located this morning in the southeast of the Dominican Republic in the Caribbean Sea. This will cause the increase the of low level moisture, causing showers and thunderstorms to become more frequent and intense in the afternoon hours for the East Southeast, Northeast and Southwest regions. Tuesday´s high temps will be just slightly lower than of late of 28-30ºC and the evening lows of 23-25ºC.The National Meteorological Office (ONAMET), is continuing to monitor an area of low pressure north of the Gulf of Mexico near the mouth of the Mississippi River. It has a low (30%) to become a tropical cyclone and poses no threat to the Dominican Republic.
