Hurricane Tomas continues to strenghthen and  is now a Category 2 Hurricane producing winds of 100 mph. Tomas is located 350 miles south-east of Puerto Rico/150 miles west of St. Lucia.

Both NOAA and TWC are predicting Tomas will intensify as it moves westerly into the Caribbean. Tomas is expected to be south of the Dominican Republic but we will of course experience rough surf, high winds and heavy rainfall. Tomas is predicted to be near the Dominican coast between Tuesday and Friday. We will continue to post updates and advisories as they become available.
