The weather front that has been causing showers and thunderstorms over the Dominican Republic for the last few days, seems to have become stationary over the island over night. With this in mind, it is expected to produce more rain showers and thunderstorm activity especially in the afternoon hours. Due to excessive cloud cover, temperatures are to remain a sticky 90-94ºF during the daytime and only dropping to 76-78ºF in the evening hours.
