Last weekend the AAAS or full title The Asociacion De Amigos Por Los Animales de Sosua spayed and nuetered an amazing 73 street dogs and cats with the volunteer vets from Florida and brought with them not only their experience and time but also some much needed generous donations and proceeds as well. Also contributing were proceeds from the now quite famous "Lady's Day Sosua Cookbook" a delicious piece of reading with inspiring recipes put together by a savoury bunch of tasty north coast ladies!
The visiting vets are a breath of fresh air and their enthusiasm and assistance is always received with open arms. The realdr and all members of the Association of Animals in Sosua and also the ladies from the Sosua Cookbook would like to extend a huge thank you to everbody that took time, care and heart to come here to the Dominican Republic.
If you are interested in volunteer work with The Association then follow this link, same as if you are interested in providing a good home for a puppy or an abandoned doggie then please check out Judys Pet Lodge in Sosua on the north coast of the Dominican Republic.

The Dominican Republic has a long standing relationship with visiting vets who come over during their own annual leave time and dedicate their professional services and skills at no cost to assist in the well being of many of our four legged furry friends that we all see on a day to day basis wandering the streets through out the country. This time it was the north coast who experienced the generosity of heart from a group of wonderful vets from Florida.
