Yesterday, some six weeks since we announced Raul H. Yzaguirre had been appointed the new Ambassador for the United States to the Dominican Republic, Mr. Yzaguirre met in the National Palace with President Fernandez where he presented his credentials and was welcomed into the country.
On arrival at Las Americas International Airport from Miami he said “I want to thank the Government, the authorities and the Dominican people for having me as Ambassador of the United States in this beautiful nation”.
He will take up his position as Ambassador immediatly.
