In the wake of the controversary surrounding the Dominican Chamber of Accounts attempt to increase their monthly salary to RD$449,000, the country's representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) has weighed in with the criticism that the Chamber is 'a dinosaur with 9 heads".

He urges an urgent review of the law that created it and action that does not replace the nine heads but rather eliminates them as they have lost credibility. He also commented on the outcry by the Dominican taxpayers who could not begin to understand how a situation like this could arise.
