Twin Engine Aircraft crashes near Las Americas (SDQ) airport
A small twin-engine plane with four people aboard crashed on Thursday evening in the Dominican Republic - amazingly without fatalities.The Aerocomando 500 plane, coming from Porto Rico, lost altitude when it was attempting to land in Las Americas International Airport (SDQ) near Santo Domingo,
The pilot of the plane radioed an emergency to the control tower then the plane lost control and crashed in a forest while trying to land.
The two passengers and two pilots aboard the plane were rescued with minor injuries and were taken to the Ramon Lara Hospital of the Military Forces in San Isidro.
