Showers will and thunderstorms will increase in intensity and frequency this Tuesday afternoon as a tropical wave gets closer to Dominican shores.

The majority of the cloudiness and storm activity will be along the Caribbean coast of the country, while the North Coast and Cibao Valley will still enjoy sunny skies along with high temperatures, although the skies in these areas are prone to scattered clouds and thunderstorms as is the norm for this time of year.

Tuesday´s forecast highs are between 30-35ºC with evening lows only getting down to 24-26ºC
