tuesday-satelliteA weak trough located over the country is being fuelled by a tropical disturbance just south of Puerto Rico. This will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms accompanied by wind gusts mainly to the Northeast, Southeast, Central and the Cordillera Border Area. This disturbance located south of Puerto Rico has a 20% chance of becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours, bringing with it increased cloud activity in the Caribbean Sea.

Tropical depression number four became Tropical Storm Colin early this morning and is located about 1475 km east of the Lesser Antilles, moving west-northwest at about 20kph, with maximum sustained winds of 65kph. At this time, this tropical storm is not forecast to affect the Dominican Republic.

Tuesdays highs will be between 28-32ºC with evening lows of 22-24ºC
