Business as usual for holiday makers in the DRThe main tourist destinations of the Dominican Republic were not too effected by Tropical Storm Noel.  Heavy rains over the 3 day storm meant that some excursions were cancelled, but apart from that the tourist areas remained normal and free from any adverse storm effects. Tourist areas can now enjoy the sun that appeared this afternoon for the first time and judging by the amount of tourists out and about today walking round, everyone welcomed those Caribbean rays back once again. Puerto Plata, Samana, Punta Cana, La Romana, Bayahibe and Jarabacoa are back to normal and airports are running without delays or back ups in both Puerto Plata and Punta Cana.
