Heavy rain and thunderstorms will continue to affect much of the country on Thursday, all due to the tropical disturbance which is slowly edging its way towards the Bahamas. There is a 40% chance of the system reaching the category of tropical cyclone within the next two days, but any further development will have no direct effect on the Dominican Republic.
