Famed real estate developer Donald Trump has said that he intends to team up with Cap Cana SA to create a luxury resort of the east coast of the Dominican Republic.

The project estimated at costing approx $2 billion dollars was announced on Friday, called Trump at Cap Cana the development will include a condominium hotel, golf course, golf villas, beach club and luxury homes for sale.

The Donald said that is a natural move for his company Trump Organization to enter the Dominican Republic with a Trump branded property, as the location of Cap Cana fits perfectly with the type of upscale resort that he is already famous for.

Trump said "People know it will be top of the line".

The prospective for the development is outlined with a gated communmity of 68 luxury homes called Trump Farallon Estates at Cap Cana and will be he first protion of the project.  The luxury residencies will each sit on at least 1.5 acres of land and will be located on a bluff 60 feet above sea level.

Farallon home owners will enjoy priviledged rights and have memberships to various clubs and amenities within the Cap Cana Site.

The resorts boutique-style hotel will also feature more than 150 condominium units and other facilities such as a health spa and fitness center, concurred Eric Trump who is the vice president of acquisitions and development. At the going time of press no details were given as to how much the luxury homes and condo units would cost.

The Trump organisation is expecting buyers from around the globe but mainly from the United States of America.

The high end tourism and real state project is next to Punta Cana International Airport and will cover more than 30,000 acres of land and will include more than 5,000 residential units and at least four exclusive and luxury hotels.  It will also include three Jack Nicklaus golf courses and a state of the art marina Mr Donald Trump said.
