Everyone enjoys a good cigar!Cohiba a name familiar with many cigar aficionados is a brand for two kinds of premium cigar, one that is produced in Cuba for Habanos SA which is the Cuban State owned tobacco company and the other which is produced in the Dominican Republic for General Cigars.  The name Cohiba itself comes from the Taino word for ‘tobacco’.  The Cuban brand is filled with a top quality tobacco which has undergone an extra fermentation process unique to Cohiba.

Once a private brand supplied only to Fidel Castro and other top government officials, Cohiba became the only diplomatic gift to be honored with! Cohiba was released commercially for sale in 1982. The tobacco for Cuban Cohiba is selected from the finest Vegas Finas de Primera fields in the San Luis and San Juan and Martinez zones of the Vuelta Abajo region of Pinal del Rio!
