Surfing - Dominican Republic to Compete in ISA World Games

cabarete surferThe Dominican Republic WILL compete against the worlds best surfers at the Billabong ISA World Surfing Games, to be held in Peru, this week.

Five of our best surfers have been picked by The Dominican Surfing Federation (FEDOSURF)  based on the surfers performance and ranking earned in the National Open Series of qualifying events held throughout the country in 2010.

They are Eduar ‘Papito’ Santana of Cabarete, Anderson Hernandez Valdez of Puerto Plata and Junior Gomez of Rio San Juan, Marcell René Gough of Boca Chica and finally Angel Comprés of Cabarete.
