CheckPoint Pub situated in the heart of Sosua last night (Thursday) held their amazing Sosua Kids Charity Fundraiser night.  What a brilliant turn out and success for hosts, Colleen and Carolyn Misner.  A huge thank you goes out to everyone that attended and also to the kind and generous gifts and prizes that local buisness's and stores donated for the evening.  North Coast Divers, Outback Safari, Freestyle Catamarans, Gone Fishing, Patrick Silver Smithy are amongst the many fantastic local companies that donated to this fabulous charity! As of around midnight Checkpoint Pub had raised over RD$82,000 to ensure many local children can continue their education and receive uniforms and books. Well done and a big thank you to everybody once again!
