Ministers representing some 21 Nations from the Caribbean and Central America will travel to Santo Domingo next week which will host the "17th Annual Cruise Ship Conference". Also attending the conference will be Dominican Tourism Deputy minister Magaly Toribio, cruise line executives, tour operators and selected travel and ship agents.
Mrs.Toribio was quoted as saying “For the first time in this type of event the cruise lines’ purchasing managers would participate, which is a magnificent opportunity for our country to continue growing as supplier of products the cruise lines buy for the consumption of their passengers and crew, such as beer, cigarettes and farm products.”
Cruise Ships will port in the towns of Puerto Plata as well as Punta Cana.
