President of the Dominican Republic Leonel Fernandez closed his campaign rally yesterday pulling the biggest number of supporters recorded. Closing in the Dominican Republic's capital city Santo Domingo at the Francisco del Rosario Sanchez bridge's western approach, thousands of PLD supporters heard Fernandez's last campaign speach. Six major polls released figures over the last six days give Leonel Fernandez's party a first ballot win with an average of 55%.
