Not only was Oscar de la Renta honoured with the Council of Fashion Designers of America's (CFDA) first ever American Fashion Legend Award last night but also picked up the trophy for Menswear Designer of the Year and tied for the Womenswear Designer of the Year award. His co-winners were Jack McCollough & Lazaro Hernandez of Proenza Schouler.

The CFDA celebrated the 25th anniversary of its fashion awards this year. The winners are chosen by CFDA members, editors, stylists and retailers.
