More American Airline Flights to Dominican Republic

Fort Worth, Texas – American Airlines will bolsters its Fort Lauderdale (FLL), Fla., and schedule on December 13 when it adds new service to San Jose, Cost Rica (SJO) and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic (SDQ). 

 

Additionally, American will upgrade to larger aircraft on some of its flights between Fort Lauderdale and San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU), and its flight to Port-au-Prince, Haiti (PAP).

America’s new flights from Fort Lauderdale to San Jose and Santo Domingo will feature one daily round trip using 148 seat Boeing 737-800 aircraft.  America’s upgrade of aircraft from Fort Lauderdale to San Juan will include replacing one of its three daily round trips with a 267 seat Airbus A300. 

The other two daily roundtrips between Fort Lauderdale and San Juan will continue to be flown with 188 seat Boeing 757 planes.

The new flight’s numbers are: 717 departs Fort Lauderdale at 7.30am and arrives in Santo Domingo’s Las Americas Airport at 10.30am.  The return flight is number 718 departing Santo Domingo at 11.35am and arriving in Fort Lauderdale at 1pm, both using a Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
