The work week will start of slightly cloudy in most parts, some even will experience a light rain first thing. These clouds will soon dissipate with the sun´s heat and we will see a hot humid day for all areas of the Dominican Republic. During the afternoon hours though, moisture caused by the prevailing wind from the East, will be favorable for the occurrence of scattered showers with thunderstorms gusty winds and isolated to the Northeast, Southwest, Southeast and the Border Area. Monday´s highs will be between 30-32ºC with the evening lows remaining a sticky 24-26ºCTropical Watch - Tropical Storm Danielle continues to strengthen and is located about 1,385km west of the Cape Verde islands. It is moving towards the west northwest at 22 kilometers per hour with maximum sustained winds of 95 kilometers per hour. For now, this tropical storm poses no threat to the Dominican Republic.
