chilean-minersManchester United beat Arsenal 1-0 last night to top the Premier League in England. On a bitterly cold evening in Manchester, United cheered on by over 70,000 fans (including 23 of the Chilean Miners that were trapped below ground for 69 days who were invited as special guests by Sir Bobby Charlton) scored late in the first half courtesy of a Park Ji-sung headed goal. United spurned many chances in front of goal including a rare penalty miss by striker Wayne Rooney but fully deserved their victory. United now move 2 points clear of their nearest rivals Arsenal and also have a game in hand.
