Wednesday 7th February will see the President of the Dominican Republic, Leonel Fernanez heading the inaugural ceremony at the new International Airport in Samana Province called El Catey.

Scheduled for 11.00am the President shall be cutting the official "ribbon".

Accompanied with other officials from the government they shall all be travelling together out of Santo Domingo to Samana.

Aerodom were the constructors of El Catey under a concession agreement.

TV and press coverage are to be expected along with local school children and employees of the new airport.
