Tomorrow is the anniversary of the 7.3 magnitude Earthquake that devastated Haiti, killing over 230,000 and demolished over 1,000,000 homes. The world tried to help raising millions of dollars with the help of high profile politicians and celebrities adding their weight behind the aid effort.Tomorrow, our President Leonel Fernandez discusses the long term strategy for Haiti in a book titled “A Commitment with Haiti". In a released statement outlining the content of the book Leonel comments "It’s the opportune moment so the international community can, in fact, apply a plan of creation in that direction, so that Haiti can get in step with the modern world totally, with the 21st Century, guaranteeing its population a dignified and just life".
