President Leonel Fernandez spoke yesterday and insisted the Dominican Republic has coped through the impact of the global economic crisis and believes investment here is without doubt favorable.
Leonel added that despite the world’s uncertain economic climate, the Dominican Republic economy will grow by 5.5% this year, even when the IMF projects 1.5% for Latin America and the Caribbean region.
“In comparison with the rest of the region, the impact of the economic crisis has been mitigated".
