Ravishing Latino pop hero and singing success Ricky Martin rocked Santo Domingo's Quisqueya Stadium over the weekend with an electrifying performance. Playing to an estimated 20,000 people his show featured many of his greatest hits including "Tu recuerdo", "Living la vida loca", "Maria" and "La Bamba".

The audience danced and sang along with Mr Martin and it was reported that several female fans fainted due to too much Living la vida loca, themselves.

The Dominican Republic is part of the first leg of his White and Black tour, outside of his native home of Puerto Rico.
