Latin Music Festival is back
August 27-29 (Major note for diary!) - The return one of the most important musical events of the Caribbean was announced yesterday. The President of the Dominican National Brewery (DNB), Rafael Menicucci, announced that the Latin Music Festival will be back after a 4 year pause.Considered the biggest musical event in the Dominican Republic, Menicucci announced that this will be a great boost to both internal and external tourism of the DR. This will be the seventh time this has event will be held and its return has been demanded by the public.
Reggaeton duo Wisin y Yandel are rumored to be one of the attending artists to participate this year.
Menicucci mentioned that the DNB takes months working hard on the preparations in order to make the festival even more magnificent and impressive. For 3 days the event aims to bring together on one stage, the most popular national and international artists of Hispanic music, hoping to collect on each day an audience of over 50,000 fans.
Menicucci highlighted the dynamism that this musical activity brings to the national economy with hundreds of people involved in its preparation, including tour operators, hotels, restaurants and tourists, among others.
