Dominican Latin Musician Juan Luis Guerra has been nominated for the Best Album of the Year, "A Son de Guerra" in this years Latin Grammy Awards ceramony in tonight's Showcase Event held at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas.
Also on tha agenda is a Lifetime Achievement Award for Dominican merengue star, Joseito Mateo who has been performing for over 70 years.
The event celebrates Latin music throughout the world and will be hosted by Latin celebrities Lucero and Engenio Derbez.
The ceremony will be broadcast live in over 100 countries world-wide.
