No significant changes in the weather conditions for the country are expected on Thursday, meaning the weather, as is the norm for early August, will be very hot and humid with chances of afternoon thunderstorms. Thursdays high temperatures are expected to be between 30-34ºC while in the evening hours staying a muggy 25-27ºCThe National Meteorological Office (ONAMET) is monitoring two areas of showers and thunderstorms, one southeast of Jamaica and the other northeast of Puerto Rico, the first with a 20% probability of achieving the status of tropical cyclone, while the second, which is the remnants of Tropical Storm Colin, shows a possible re-formation during the next 48 hours with a 40% possibility of becoming tropical once more.
