England´s Sky TV will close its travel channel and website next month due to intense competition from the internet. The satellite broadcaster will shut the channel and its accompanying website on June 24.
A Sky spokeswoman said: “It was a difficult decision as the team has delivered a great product but the internet, rather than linear TV, has become the main channel for holiday retailing”
