India's ambassador to the Dominican Republic, Deepak Kishinchand Bhojwan has given his strongest indication yet that New Delhi wishes to have a full service Embassy in the Capital.

Bhojwan was quoted as saying “it’s only a matter of time when we’ll have a permanent ambassador here.”

In the past few years India has established many corporations worldwide specialising mainly in pharmaceutical and telecoms agency's especially in the U.K.

President Leonel Fernandez has been invited to India on a Statesman's visit which no doubt he will be anxious to attend.
