Strategic places in the capital and in towns were selected for the sale of products where the Agriculture Ministry’s regional agencies operate.
Agriculture Minister Salvador Jimenez said the sales have already started in 23 mobile plazas installed at President Leonel Fernandez’s instruction to benefit almost 1 million Dominican people.
He said the member of 64 farmers associations, 20 companies, agro-industrial, meat, milk and dairy produce, juice and inlays are all supporting the different regions and the programs that the produce is now sold.

With a new enthusiasm and strategy the Dominican Republic’s Agricultural Minister is planning to massively market produce which will be aimed at helping and assisting Dominican farmers who are situated in regions through out the country that have suffered from the devastating rains and other natural phenomena causing immense crop damage, so effectively aid them in not losing what is left of their precious harvests and to reach consumers at low prices.
