Seriously, Valentines Day is not taken lightly in the old DR, with pretty much every female in the country wearing some form of clothing that is red, roses are on every street corner, bakeries sell heart shaped cookies and mushy songs are played all day on most radio stations. It must be the strong Latino blood lines pulsating through every body that can't help but be true romantics at heart.
Many restaurants through out the country will have special Valentine dinners in the evening, and alot of live musicians will be heard singing romantic ballads.......ahhhhh
