On Behalf of everyone in the seaside town of Sosua on the north coast of the Dominican Republic and everybody here at therealdr.com we would like to extend some very special birthday wishes to 2 smashing local residents. First of all Birthday Wishes goes out to a fabulous and popular lady called Skip who celebrated her 85th Birthday on September 6th with over 50 friends turning out to celebrate this wonderful occassion.
Skip has been living in the Dominican Republic for 25 years after leaving her native Boston, and previously had been coming for vacations well before that!! At the realdr.com we think she escaped the United States after being on the FBI's Top Ten Most Wanted Cute Grandmother's List....Congratulations to Skip on her 85th Birthday.
Also in the first/top photograph with Skip is another long time resident of Sosua, Mr Louis Hess who will be celerating his........99th Birthday next month. Mr Louis Hess has been a resident of Sosua since the Second World War and has a heart warming history that you can read about if you follow this link:

We all may ask "What is in the water in Sosua?" that produces such fine people with longevity, humour and happiness - whatever it is may both Skip and Mr Hess keep up the good work and both set a shining example of just what Caribbean living does for the heart, soul and body!
