Recent reports from Haiti state that an attempt was made to capture ex rebel leader Guy Phillipe. Philippe, former police commander and ex presidential candidate was allegedly cornered and captured just outside Les Cayes, Haiti. Eyewitnesses say that black military helicopters descended on the area and that foreign law enforcement agents moved in to capture Phillipe. Phillippe who was previously trained by US special forces in Ecuador has several human rights violations against him during his tenure as police commander.
