Punta Cana  - Gol Airlines has begun its regular weekly service to Punta Cana with the approval of Brazil National Agency of Civil Aviation (Anac) and other authorities.

Initially, the services will run just once a week, with departures from Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo, the flight will then make a stop in Caracas, Venezuela and then on to PUJ.

The flight, operated by VARIG on behalf of GOL airlines, will be on one of their newer 737-800 which GOL have prided themselves on due to its, high operational efficiency, safety, comfort and cost effeciency
