Fuel Prices Hitting Record Highs

Another round of price increases across the board for fuel have set records for all time highs.

Premium rose by RD$2.70 to RD$160.80 per gallon, that much closer to last year's record high of RD$161.20. Regular set a new high of RD$149.90 with a per gallon increase of RD$2.40. Diesel also hit a new high with an increase of RD$2.30 bringing it to RD$107.60 per gallon.

LPG did not go untouched by the increases. It rose by RD$0.67 bringing subsidized propane to RD$72.14 and non-subsidized to RD$72.14.

External factors are blamed.
