While petroleum prices on the world market went down to US$58 a barrel, the Dominican Republic saw its seventh week in a row of price increases for fuel with only diesel seeing a moderate decrease.
Premium gasoline went up RD$1.40 to RD$144.30 per gallon and regular is now RD$133.60 per gallon, an increase of RD$0.60. Diesel went down RD$1.40 to RD$101.60 per gallon while LPG, or propane, increased by RD$0.59 with subsidized now propane costing RD$45.58 pr gallon and unsubsidized costing RD$67.34 per gallon.
