A tropical wave was located over the Canal de los Vientos is causing moist air over Dominican territory which will bring afternoon thunderstorms, some quite heavy, to the Northeast, Southeast, Cordillera Central areas. Friday will start clear and fresh after the rain showers late yesterday, but the sun will soon get to work and the humidity will make the mid-day sun feel even warmer.

Temperatures will remain high, due to the prevailing wind from the southeast with highs of around 33ºC and night time lows of 24ºC.
