Official figures released by the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic show that over 4 million tourist visited our shores in 2010, that's an increase of 32,000 on the previous year!

Despite the cancellation of several flights from both North America and Europe in December because of the terrible weather conditions they incurred, figures were still up in this month - it's the first time the 4,000,000 barrier has been broken!

Official figures also confirm the majority of visitors who visit the Dominican Republic come from the United States and Canada (54%).
