The Dominican Republic Air Force will receive the final eight Super Tucano intercept planes in its bid to crack down on drug trafficking.
The planes manufactured in Brazil will be delivered to San Isidro Airbase where President Leonel Fernandez and other Government Officials will be on hand to welcome the new arrivals.
The Super Tucan plane is capable of firing air to air missiles and can bolster such rockets as the AIM-9 SideWinder, AGM-65 Maverick, Phyton 3 and the MAA-1 Piraña.
