A United States citizen was arrested at Santiago International airport yesterday prior to boarding a Jet Blue flight to New York City. It was alleged that Debbie Guzman from Manhattan was caught attempting to smuggle 111 small packets of heroin with a combined weight of 1 kilo 235 grams. The drugs were found in disposable nappies, as well as in her underwear and some were also found to be ingested. This follows another attempt to smuggle drugs in a similar manner by a pregnant lady at Las Americas International Airport just last week.
