DR Now a Member of UN Tech and Science Club

The United Nations Science and Technology Commission has made the Dominican Republic a member of their club. Membership to the organization is restricted to nations that invest heavily in this area of human knowledge and economy.

Ligia Amada Melo attended the 10th annual session of the commission to receive the membership and speak before the High Level Commission for Development. She highly praised President Fernandez for his vision in facilitating the development of the country's use of the internet and other information technologies.
