The quick service restaurant conglomerate, Dominspec S.A, has won the franchise to start opening upto 14 Krispy Kreme shops in the Dominican Republic over the next five years.

Dominspec S.A. is a successful copmany with Burger King and Papa John´s pizza restaurants under its wing in the country.

The announcment came from the Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corporation in Winston-Salem, N.C and Jeff Welch (Krispy Kreme President, International) said the company was very happy awarding this contract to Dominspec and that they looked forward to offering the one of a kind experience Krispy Kreme has to offer to the Dominican people.

So, for those of you who like your donuts, watch out because there could be a Krispy Kreme shop near you soon
