After last week's relatively inconsequential reductions in fuel prices, the country got hit hard across the board for the coming week.

The Ministry of Industry and Commerce announced the new prices as follows - premium gasoline up RD$4.20 per gallon to RD$147.60, regular gasoline up RD$2.10 to RD$134.80 and diesel up by RD$2.40 to RD$102.80. Liquid propane gas (LPG) also rose by RD$1.43 per gallon bringing subsidized propane to RD$46.45 and non-subsidized to RD$68.81.
