MAYAGUEZ - Puerto Rico. The Dominican medal production in the XXI Central American and Caribbean Games gained threw another 13 medals in the 6th day in which the Dominicans repeatedly beat Puerto Ricans in the overall standings.
There were gold medals in women's volleyball, karate and wrestling. Karate also produced one silver and four bronze, wrestling one silver and two bronze and cycling bronze.
Volleyball
The women's team won its third consecutive crown by winning the contest to Puerto Rico 3-2 in a hard-fought match that lasted two hours and three minutes. 
Wrestling
In the 66 kilos of modality, Angelo Mota Brea won the gold after beating metal Mexican Ulises Barragan (3-0) and then against the Puerto Rican Orlando Medina (10-3) and in the end prevailed over Venezuela Manuel Torres (4-0).
"This is very big for me I'm in the last stage of my career," said Brea, participating in his 5th Central American and Caribbean Games.
Basketball
The women's team lost to Puerto Rico 81-69 in the final and settled for the silver medal.
Cycling
In the men's scratch category (60 laps of the velodrome, 15 kilometers), Euris Vidal was left with the bronze medal after arriving behind the Venezuelan Richard Ochoa and Mexican Mario Contreras.
Table tennis
Male and female teams advanced to the semifinals. Valdez, Xue Wu Johenny won their doubles games against on Guyana and also won twice to complete the 3-0. In the quarterfinals, the Creoles beat Puerto Rico 3-2
