The Dominican Institute of Telecommunications has announced the Dominican Republic will make the change to Digital TV in September 2015, a process already in motion in several countries such as Argentina, Costa Rica, Peru, Great Britain, Canada and South Africa to name a few.
So far 15 countries have changed to Digital, a format that allows not just clearer images but additional information that enriches the viewer experience, also the signal is not affected by atmospheric conditions.
