cruiseimagesThis coming Friday sees the beginning of the cruise season in the Dominican Republic with two ships arriving to the ports of Sans Souci and Don Diego. It is the Ministry of Tourism's goal to ensure that this is the "Dominican Republic's best and most organized cruise season ever". In light of this, the local tourism police here, Politur, have held extensive meetings with influential groups such as taxi drivers, tour guides, vendors and gift shop owners to ensure the well being of all cruise tourists to the port areas of Santo Domingo & the Colonial Zone, La Romana, Bayahibe & Samana. For those of you living here
in the Dominican Republic, we highly recommend you look into the possibility of taking one of these cruises which are generally available for very reasonable prices. More details to follow regarding deals, pricing & availability.
